The ancient farmhouse dating back to the 15th century was once home to a small community of friars. The building's history recalls the religious traditions of the area, a place of Christian pilgrimage. Here one finds hospitality and comfort in an ideal place for relaxation, for observing close up a landscape full of colors, perfumes sensations and traditions. Our family-run farm estate extends over 30 hectars of cultivated land and pastures, olive groves orchads and fields of lavender. The ancient monastery overlooks a typical Viterbese panorama with a thousand shades of green, a perfect starting point for interesting walks and rides on mountain bike trails. From all the apartments one can admire the splendid perfumed expanses of lavender. Our magnificent swimming pool with hydro massage and the facilities of the nearby historic "Terme dei Papi" makes Podere dell'Arco a perfect place for those who want to regenerate mind and body. Walking around the farm estate one arrives to a hilltop from where the Papal Palace, the city's gateway Porta Faul and its centuries-old walls can be admired. We are located less than a kilometre from the city center and the San Pellegrino medieval quarter. |
